With the legendary carnival set to celebrate in style this summer, Getintothis’ Michael Edward is ready for the party to start.
Fiesta Bombarda have announced the first details of its fifth Birthday celebrations, set to take place at Sefton Park Palm House on June 2-3.
At this point, Fiesta Bombarda has become an institution of not only Liverpool’s, but the country’s nightlife.
From its outset, it’s been a purveyor of supreme party music and supreme parties, often with each outdoing the last in a beautiful run of self-oneupmanship, particularly in its hometown.
Looking to unusual and spectacular venues such as St. Georges’ Hall, The Florrie, Grand Central and even the Anglican Cathedral, they always bring a sense of occasion.
Rightly so, after five years Fiesta will hold its birthday bash in the iconic Sefton Park Palm House with day one headlined by Glaswegian dub royalty SOOM T and day two treating us to the superb reggae of MACKA B.
With a whole host of acts set to be announced over the coming weeks, there promises to be a carnival cacophony of Fiesta‘s traditional facepaint, tropical set design, and what we’re told is a “very special in-house and interactive live performance project“. One for the diary.
