‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’ said Keats, and he may well have been referring to The Vyrll Society’s fresh-as-a-daisy new track, A Perfect Rhythm.
Brittle and sparkling, shimmering and twisting its way through a perfectly timed three minutes twenty odd seconds, this slice of fractured pysch fits the bill as an anthem for the beginning of autumn and is yet another sign of the incredible potential of this band.

Such psych songs always seem to be associated with hazy summer days but A Perfect Rhythm, with echoes of The Beatles Tomorrow Never Knows and Felt’s Primitive Painters-but already better than both of them put together-is something we’re going to be listening to endlessly through the cold, dark and miserable nights of winter and to give us hope for the future.
After what has been, quite frankly, an incredible year for the band-wowing thousands across the festival circuit this summer and now headlining a UK tour this autumn-A Perfect Rhythm is so aptly named that it defies belief.
Currently recording their debut album for the Deltasonic label and with a homecoming gig at the Invisible Wind Factory on December 2 to set your Christmas 2016, well, perfectly, get your ears round this track and fall in love.
