Liverpool grassroots culture is on a high – but for how long, and how can you help to preserve it’s future?
A public forum on Thursday evening at the Fall Out Factory on Dale Street aims to ensure Liverpool’s thriving grassroots community is given a voice.
In November 2012, Liverpool launched its new Strategic Investment Framework (SIF), creating a fifteen year vision for the city centre aiming to support creative growth.
On the face of it, good news for grassroots culture. However, after 12 months of ongoing noise abatement orders, funding cuts, council rates disputes and economic pressures, is the SIF a plan that can help facilitate the flourishing of our grassroots cultural sector?
In order to begin such conversations, Bido Lito! will be hosting Culture Forum alongside representatives from Liverpool Vision, Culture Liverpool, Wolstenholme Creative Space and BBC Radio Merseyside.
