Critically acclaimed guitarist Steve Gunn will play a UK tour and releases a cover of a Neil Young classic as Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley reports.
Steve Gunn is set to a play a headline UK tour this year in support of his new album The Unseen In Between.
The tour will include stops in Brighton, Nottingham, Glasgow and an intimate solo show at London’s Omeara.
Gunn has also released a cover of the Neil Young track Motion Pictures (For Carrie) as an Amazon Original release.
The Philly guitarist recorded it in Brooklyn in May, and the release celebrates 45 years since Young‘s On The Beach album which includes the track.
On the track, Gunn said: “Motion Pictures perfectly captures the wistful anxiety of ‘living in between’ the real world and being on the road. I also find watching TV in hotel rooms inspiring.
