Circa Waves are back with a new album and some live in-stores, Getintothis’ Steven Doherty has the details.
Circa Waves have announced details of a UK wide tour of signings and live record store performances in support of their 3rd full-length album What’s It Like Over There?, released April 5.
In a busy week starting on the eve of the record’s release, they play a mix of acoustic and full-band shows, as well as signing sessions after each show. The full dates are below.
Their hometown meet and greet is taking place on Saturday April 6 at Jacaranda Records Phase One, where they will be playing with the full electric line-up.
This is then followed by a manic few days which sees them play two acoustic shows a day at various locations throughout the country.
The album’s release comes hot on the heels of recently released teaser single Times Won’t Change Me, and is the long-awaited follow up to their top 20 2017 album Different Creatures, and has a more epic, spacious feel, showing a maturity befitting a band on record number three.
Following on swiftly from the in-stores, they then embark on a full UK tour, starting in Oxford on April 15, before crossing the pond for some US dates, finishing up at Reading Festival in August.
