The Hyundai Mercury Prize nominees are out, Getintothis’ Peter Guy on this year’s critics choice albums.
The Hyundai Mercury Prize shortlist has been revealed with Arctic Monkeys leading the shortlist with their fourth nomination.
Among the other nominees are Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds, Lily Allen with her first nomination and newcomer Jorja Smith.
The Mercury, now in it’s 26th year, recognises the UK’s best albums from the last calendar year.
