Echo & The Bunnymen reveal more news on their latest record, Getintothis’ Peter Guy looks ahead to their new tour and twelfth studio album.
Echo & The Bunnymen have released further details about their new album, The Stars, The Oceans and The Moon.
The Bunnies twelfth studio album will be released on October 5 and offers a set of new perspectives on one of the most majestic back catalogues of modern times.
The band are to reimagine thirteen of their own classics – including The Killing Moon, Nothing Lasts Forever and Rescue – re-recorded with “synths, strings and things“.
The album also features two new songs, The Somnambulist and How Far?
Echo & The Bunnymen head out on a previously announced UK tour in May and June. The band are also confirmed to play the Skyline Series in Bristol in June; and Hardwick Live in Sedgefield in August.
These dates will be the first time the band have played the new arrangements on stage.
