At the end of another week with the country in lockdown, here’s Getintothis’ Max Richardson with the weekly roundup.

It’s a Sunday afternoon which can only mean one thing, it’s time once again for the Getintothis Top Five.

This writer’s many of the evenings of this week accompanied by the simply astounding The Last Dance, the Netflix documentary series following Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

If you’re a sports fan, The Last Dance is simply essential viewing – showing the frictions behind one of the most dominant franchises in sporting history through the usage of unseen behind-the-scenes footage.

Jordan’s competitive nature is a real point of interest in the series, which has so many twists and turns it’s difficult to keep track. If you’re remotely interested in basketball or sport in general, it’s a must watch.

Elsewhere this week, this writer has been rekindling a love for electronic music – listening to many artists from across the board.

From ambient artists such as Boards of Canada straight through to dance acts such as Faithless, I’ve always been a great lover of electronic music – there’s something about the ability to sculpt sound that really floats my boat, perhaps even more than any other kind of music.

A standout record that’s been on repeat for this writer has to be Ian Boddy’s After The Rain, an amazing work of electronic music boasting an innumerable palette of sounds.
