Jarv Is have announced a date in Liverpool in May, as well as details of their debut album.
The project of former Pulp frontman and Britpop hero Jarvis Cocker, the band will head to the north of the city to play the Invisible Wind Factory.
The gig, brought by EVOL, will be Cocker‘s first appearance in Liverpool since his gig at Williamson Tunnels back in 2018.
As Jarv Is, he is joined by Serafina Steer (harp, keyboards, vocals), Emma Smith (violin, guitar vocals), Andrew McKinney (bass, vocals), Jason Buckle (synthesizer, electronic treatments), and Adam Betts (drums, percussion, vocals).
Sources close to the Sheffield frontman suggested this gig was in the pipeline back in December, when his track Running The World reappeared in the charts following the General Election.
The announcement comes as they release a single, House Music All Night Long, set to feature on LP Beyond The Pale, which is primed for release on 1 May.
Beyond The Pale tracklist:
1 Save the Whale
2 Must I Evolve?
3 Am I Missing Something?
4 House Music All Night Long
5 Sometimes I Am Pharaoh
