As gigs are being rescheduled across the city, there’s good news of a new taproom in Liverpool as Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley has the news.
All We Are‘s gig at Arts Club, originally set to take place this weekend, has been rescheduled for October.
The GIT Award 2015 winners originally announced the gig following the release of their new single L Is For Lose, their first new music since 2017.
They’ve since released a new single Bad Advice, which dropped earlier this month.
They’ve released two albums previously, their self-titled debut in 2015, the year they were crowned GIT Award winners and 2017’s Sunny Hills.
They will now play on Friday October 2, with support from Luna and Niki Kand.
Jimmy’s hosted their first streamed gig this week, with Matt Thomson from The Amazons performing on Wednesday.
The Jimmy’s group, which have venues in both Manchester and Liverpool, also hosted Fuzzy Sun last night amidst gig cancellations this week.
The venue said: “Jimmy’s has put out a rallying call to fellow musicians to bring some positivity to music fans around the world.”

Elsewhere in news this week, a new craft beer bar has opened in Aigburth.
The Little Taproom is Liverpool’s newest micro pub and distillery, and opened on Friday evening (March 13).
Owners Aggy and Si have said this week: “During these uncertain times, we’re ramping up our hygiene procedures including sanitising tables more often and manually dosing our glass washer to ensure absolute cleanliness. We’ve also removed some tables and chairs to increase space between individuals and groups of people.”
“Some of you will still want to come to the pub, some of you won’t – either way, you’ll get no judgement from us, we understand.”
In addition, the bar is offering free delivery to customers in the L8, L17 and L19 postcodes from their online shop right now.
At the time of writing, they’re open at their normal times at 278 Aigburth Road.

Coronavirus in music – the latest on how its affecting the industry
Our new track this week comes from Wigan band Stanleys.
“Measured In Gold is inspired by the local area we live, being a very working class and mining background area as well as some family history in the industry. It is, I suppose, a tale of poor vs rich with slander to big corporate businesses; in general.”

The band were set to headline Sound this Friday, but this date has now been moved to Friday August 21.
