Sorry release brand new video, debut album and UK tour including Liverpool date, Getintothis’ Matty Loughlin has all the details.
Having recently finished up on a headline UK tour, Domino Records signings Sorry have released a video to accompany Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, the b-side to recent single Right Around the Clock in addition to announcing details of their debut album and further upcoming tour dates.
The video, co-directed by Jasper Cable-Alexander and band member Asha Lorenz and produced by Connie Elmy-Martin features Lorenz portraying a debauched Elvis and is thematically linked to the video for the single’s lead track; Right Around the Clock, which itself received acclaim and plays on BBC 6 Music and Radio 1 and saw the band described by The Sunday TImes as “[a]…menacing Pixies-meet-minor-key-B-52s sound”.
The video’s release coincides with the revelation that the band’s debut album 925 is due to be released in early 2020, also via Domino Records, with more information promised shortly
Additionally, Sorry have lined up in addition to a number of worldwide live dates that features a Liverpool stop at EBGBs and gigs in New York, Paris and appearance at South by Southwest.
