The popular River of Light event is coming back to Liverpool again for 2019, Getintothis’ Warren Millar has the lowdown on what’s to come.
From November 1 Liverpool’s River of Light festival spectacular returns for nine days across the city.
This years festival looks set to be one colourful and dazzling display of art, with no fewer than 10 newly commissioned displays lighting up some of the city’s iconic landmarks and buildings, created by some of the most exciting artists across Europe..
Two simultaneous displays, from the Waterfront in Liverpool and as part of Wirral’s Borough of Culture year in New Brighton, will start at 6.30pm on Sunday 3 November with a soundtrack featuring artists and songs which have been big in the city this year.
