Dig Vinyl have opened a short term pop up shop at the Albert Dock and Getintothis’ Conor Baxter went to visit.
Dig At The Dock opened its doors at the end of October as a boutique pop up store to introduce records and unique music finds to the Royal Albert Dock.
The longstanding success of Dig Vinyl on Bold Street is no secret. It continues to hold its very strong reputation as one of the cities premier record stores.
With an expert and often varied record selection, it seemed fitting that Dig have experimented with a pop up store on the Royal Albert Dock.
Open for six months, Dig At The Dock will likely be frequented more by tourists than by local record collectors, largely due to its location. But its doors are open and for everyone, and from the selection of records we saw, there is a some rare gems to be found in the record boxes down at the docks.

It seems like the perfect location for a Dig popup store. An area of the city which gets some of the highest tourist footfall, many of which who are in the city because of their love for music.
We wish Dig every success as they experiment with a new location away from Bold Street.
