Ferris & Sylvester brought their alt country vibe to Phase One, Getintothis’ Courtney Hughes is longing for a repeat performance.

Flying in fresh from their American tour dates, Ferris & Sylvester took the spotlight in their first ever show at Liverpool’s Jacaranda Phase One

The Alternative Blues hungry crowd were not disappointed.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, Liverpool’s own Molly Green took to the stage and warmed the crowd up with her stunning vocals.

The crowd hung on to every note as she sang her original pieces.

Molly has recently reached over 10k monthly listeners on Spotify and 13.6k streams on her single Elusive. Those are pretty impressive numbers and Molly really showed that she’d earned them.

Next to exhilarate the crowd was Scottish folk, singer/songwriter Roseanne Reid.

Roseanne is a BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards nominee and really showed off her skills when she started singing, playing guitar and a harmonica.

Her album ‘Trails’ came out in April and was rated 5 stars by Country Music magazine.

Roseanne really blew the crowd away with her impressive vocals and instrumental talent. Listening to her music was rather refreshing as this generation allows grime and rap to conquer the charts.

To finish the night off, main act Ferris & Sylvester took their place in the spotlight and they brought the energy needed to get the crowd involved.

Their alternative folk genre of music got the crowd dancing to their exceptional harmonies. Alternative folk was like listening to something that was light but heavy at the same time but had such a balance to it that you didn’t even noticed the changes.
