As Michael Head & the Red Elastic Band announce a huge return gig to Liverpool’s Invisible Wind Factory this November Getintothis’ Kevin Barrett has the scoop.
News has reached us of another mouth-watering announcement from Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band.
Fresh from revealing plans to release new album New Brighton Rock in the past couple of weeks, a huge hometown gig is also now in the offing, which is no doubt set to delight his adoring fanbase immensely.
After last packing out Liverpool’s Invisible Wind Factory back in December 2017 the much loved singer-songwriter will once again grace its stage on 30th November, tickets are again expected to sell out in an instant.
Those lucky enough to catch Head play in recent times will attest to just how good these nights truly are. Latest city performances in Grand Central Hall or Museum of Liverpool were found to be a masterclass in musicianship from the former Shack & The Pale Fountains maestro.
With mesmeric renditions of old favourites such as Comedy, Streets of Kenny, and Meant to Be, as well newer tracks from 2017’s LP release Adiós Señor Pussycat, Head has a delightful knack of holding the audience directly in the palm of his hand for an entire set.
