Jimmy's had a pre-opening party and Getintothis was there for the fun

Much anticipated new venue, Jimmy’s is now up and running, Getintothis were there for the unveiling of Liverpool’s newest hot spot.

It’s been teased for ages. But now it’s happened.

Jimmy’s is finally open. Liverpool’s newest music venue opened its doors tonight for a party.

And it looks amazing. Spread over three floors, there are bar areas, dining areas and, of course, the much anticipated gig space.

With a line up comprising The Coral, The Blinders and Peach Fuzz this weekend, they have clearly hit the ground running. There’s much more great stuff to come.

Events Manager Ben Taylor spoke to Getintothis earlier in the week and explained: “We’re bringing something fresh to Liverpool, there’ll be some very special events which will get people pumped, and also that atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re home. I hope we can break that stigma and help lift the buzz that’s already in the city.”

They are also running a share scheme where anyone who wants to invest can get involved, as Ben said: “This is something we’ve been working on for a while, it’s really something.You can own shares in the company for as little as £25, which also gets you 6 pints of Jimmy’s Lager.

You can have your name on a brick on the wall of legends in the bar, guestlist for life, or even have your face on the ceiling – Leonardo DaVinci style!”
