Ditto Music have revealed details for a global conference tour connecting unsigned acts with music industry head honchos, Getintothis’ Will Whitby has the details.
Liverpool based music distributor Ditto Music has announced a global music conference tour for 2019.
The tour will see the company travel to 25 cities worldwide and within the UK bringing together top industry professionals, emerging and established artists and some of the best creative minds.
The events will allow an opportunity for independent musicians to mix with all levels of the music industry to socialise and network together.
The aim is for these sessions to create points for collaboration, education and growth discussing the issues, developments and opportunities within the global music industry.
It kicks off on September 16 in London’s JuJu’s Bar & Stage with panel speakers including AJ Tracey’s manager Andy Musgrave, BBC Introducing’s Shell Zenner and rising urban artist Big Zuu.
The tour will see panels take place across the UK and six continents. The ethos and breadth of locations fit with Ditto’s global music platform as one of the world’s leading independent music distributor and label service providers.
Every location on the Ditto X Conference tour will feature a different set of speakers to offer engaging panels, discussions, Q&A’s and workshops with industry leaders and established artists.
Industry figures that have worked with the likes of AJ Tracey, Mostack and JayKae with Ditto Music CEO, Lee Parsons in attendance too.
Parsons says: “Ditto was built on community and Ditto X is our opportunity to meet artists and give them hands-on career help, wherever they are. I really can’t wait to meet and give advice to everyone who has supported Ditto so far”.
