BBC Music Introducing announce their stage line up for this years Glastonbury Festival, Getintothis’ Howard Doupé sniffs out the Liverpool contingent.
It’s become one of the most interesting draws at each Glastonbury festival, the BBC Music Introducing stage.
Back again for 2019 this years line up has been announced and there’s no surprises that yet again Liverpool is representing.
Primarily to showcase some of the hottest emerging talent the UK has to offer, this year twenty-two acts have been confirmed.
Flying the flag for the North-West is two of Merseyside’s finest: Red Rum Club and XamVolo. It’s been stellar times for both acts still riding high over their debut album releases this year.
Red Rum Club are heading into festival season on the back a forthcoming nationwide tour and sold out hometown shows. Not to mention playing The Cavern as part of BBC Music Introducing showcase as part of BBC 6 Music Festival last month.
As for XamVolo, there seems no slowing down for this singer/songwriter and producer. Recently relocated to London, live gigs continue to be an exciting event.
The line up also includes the likes of much-tipped Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard plus Apre, Deep Deep Water, Easy Live, Kudu Blue, Monster Florence and Self Esteem.
