Back for year three, Cotton Clouds has released the lineup for the Saddleworth soiree with a game of pong, Getintothis’ Nathan Scally has highlights.
After two very successful years on the Pennines, Cotton Clouds is bringing the beats back with a bumper lineup filled with acts both old and new.
Featuring The Wailers, Peter Hook and the Light, and Ash, as well as Callow Youth, Sterohaze, and Dirty Laces – this is a lineup firmly entrenched in new music and playing host to the legendary.
Other notable names include Reverend and the Makers, Alabama 3, and The House and Garage Orchestra, round out a stellar weekend for fans of all sounds.
Previous editions have seen icons The Sugarhill Gang and Sister Sledge close the Saturday in spectacular fashion, leaving The Wailers to carry on the tradition.
Not to mention Getintothis favourites, She Drew The Gun and The Fernweh, as well as the return of Tim Peak’s Diner and Tim Burgess himself, its shaping up to be another spectacle.
Taking place at Saddleworth Cricket Club in Greenfield, August 16 and 17, it’s an affair for all the family in the valley with activities for all ages and local food and drink vendors ready to keep everyone fuelled up throughout.
The Cotton Clouds crew already kicked off the announcement with an inventive game of Facebook pong, and with room for special guests on the bill, punters will be eagerly awaiting more news in the coming months.
Tickets are available for Friday, Saturday and both days on Friday, March 1 at 9am.
