The upcoming single from Ian Brown has caused global intrigue this week as Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley spotted a promotional poster in the Baltic Triangle.
The much anticipated return of Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown is soon to be upon us, and the mysterious appearance of a promotional poster in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle has captured the attention of fans worldwide.
The poster, pasted to 24 Kitchen Street showed what is suggested to be the cover of Brown‘s new single First World Problems and the message: “OUT NOW”.
It was spotted by Getintothis’ new music editor Lewis Ridley on Monday, October 22 and was soon shared on social media to much excitement.

But today (October 23), following a social media storm, it was found covered with a poster advertising an 80’s concert for this weekend at Echo Arena.

The news has seen many people claim the single will be released this coming Friday (October 26), while Twitter user @iclepickle posted in reference to the cover itself: “Monkey sitting on a horse reads as “Ma Sheung Fung Hao” in Chinese which is similar to “PROMOTION IS FAST APPROACHING”
Unconfirmed reports suggest the new album will contain a duet with the singer’s son while an inside source told Getintothis that the album is expected in March 2019. It would be Brown‘s first since 2009’s My Way.
As a solo artist Brown has previously been spotted working out of Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios.
