The Chemical Brothers will play the Daresbury dance festival in August, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley on an incredible final headliner for Creamfields.
Creamfields have made their final headliner announcement for this year’s festival, announcing the return of the legendary Chemical Brothers who will be headlining the Horizon stage on August 24.
For over twenty years the multi-award-winning electronic duo have redefined live electronic music, with over 12 million albums and six million singles sold worldwide already under their belt.
Commenting on their return, Tom and Ed said: “From DJ sets in that intense backroom and then onto the crazy Courtyard at Cream, from live sets at Speke Airport and in the fields of Cheshire at Creamfields, so many beautiful memories. We’re excited to make more in August, Free Yourself.”

Their two sold out shows at Alexandra Palace in October last year saw the duo tease a number of tracks from new album No Geography. Festival goers will experience new tracks combined with trademark incredible visuals on August Bank Holiday weekend.
The Chemical Brothers will be joining Swedish House Mafia and deadmau5 as headliners, with the first wave of acts due to be announced next week.
Last August, the festival joined the 10,000 Hours initiative which encouraged festival goers to volunteer time to help the homeless in Runcorn, in exchange for tickets to Creamfields.
