Dream pop outfit Anteros will come to Liverpool as part of their UK tour this April, in support of their debut album.
When We Land will be released on March 25, after which they’ll head out on a UK tour which includes a date in the Arts Club Loft. The album follows three EPs, which have seen them earn festival slots at Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury and more.
They’ve been seen in Liverpool alongside Blaenavon, Sundara Karma and Two Door Cinema Club but are now set for their own headline slot on Saturday, April 13.
In Independent Venue Week news, Jacaranda Records Phase One will host a special SXSW showcase on Thursday, February 1.
The night will see artists penned to play at the Texas festival later this year and will be headlined by Welsh indie band Himalayas. They’ll be joined by Natalie McCool, Pip Hallm and Algobabez.

Harvest Sun Promotions are back with bang, bringing Swimming Tapes to Liverpool on Saturday, April 6.

Over in Manchester, legendary hip hop artist Brother Ali will play Band On The Wall as part of a UK tour to celebrate 15 years of his debut album Shadows On The Sun. He’ll come to Manchester on Saturday, March 16.
Now, in support news, SPILT will head to London to support FIDLAR later this month, when they headine Heaven in the capital. The band are signed to Anvil Records and will be special guests as the LA band promote their third studio album.
