Newton Faulkner will play Liverpool’s O2 Academy as part of a UK tour celebrating 10 years in the game.

A night of music, comedy and poetry will feature The Southbound Attic Band, Jollyboat, Fourth Dimensional Accident, Al Peters, Lydiah and King and Byrne, with host and compere Alastair Clark, and all proceeds will go to Marie Curie cancer care.
In gigs, Parrjazz will present the newly formed band from Snarky Pupper founder Michael League, Bokante, at their new home at Phase One.
League handles baritone guitar and bass in the eight piece ensemble which fuses West African beats with dark, French blues. The international music collective come to Liverpool on Sunday, January 27.
Bloxx will also play Phase One next year as part of their UK tour. The indie grunge four piece will come to Liverpool on Sunday, April 14.
It follows the release of their new single Sea Blue, and the announcement that they and Circa Waves are supporting The Wombats on their tour of Europe next year.

Leeds band allusinlove have returned from a short hiatus and will headline Sound Basement in 2019.
Formerly allusondrugs, they have released an EP, All Good People while they continue a residency at Leadmill in Sheffield. They’ll come to Liverpool on Tuesday, February 5.
Finally, Neon Waltz, often referred to as Britain’s most northerly band, will play Phase One on Sunday, March 17.
The band hail from John O’Groats at the very top of Scotland, and their Liverpool stop off comes as the first English date of a UK tour.
