Modern Sky UK chaos causers The Blinders are heading out on a massive UK tour that includes a date in Liverpool, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley hopes to be among the madness.
Ahead of the release of their debut album, Columbia, The Blinders have announced a 21 date UK tour that includes a stop at Liverpool’s Buyers Club this October.
The Manchester band, signed to Modern Sky UK, packed out District at Sound City last month for what many regarded as a stand out set of the weekend.
In September, they’ll unleash their debut LP, before kicking off a tour the following month in their hometown and taking it across the country. They’ll head for Liverpool on Monday, October 29.
The Blinders are Thomas Haywood (guitar, vocals, word), Charlie McGough (bass guitar), and Matthew Neale (drums, backing vocals).
The rock and roll trio, whose current single L’Etat C’Est Moi has been received unanimous acclaim, played sold-out shows in London and Manchester last week.
Columbia is loosely based around the concept of Columbia as “an alternate world informed by reality”, displayed the band’s influences via history, literature and art.
