Our monthly new music night Deep Cuts returns to Buyers Club on Thursday June 7 with summertime bounty of delights, Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald with the lowdown.
With summer on the horizon, the long nights returning and those jumpers put away for another year, this is the perfect season to enjoy new music to its fullest.
So what better time to announce our latest installment of Deep Cuts!
Now onto its seventeenth edition, this month’s lineup features an abundance of fresh talent head to our spiritual home of The Buyers Club on June 7 to bring a kaleidoscope of sonic gifts to your senses.
Having terrorized plenty with their vicious beat laden, riff assaults at Wrong Festival and Independent Venue Week respectively this year, Bisch Nadar will be sure to get pulses racing as the Society of Losers trio continue to show they are one of the most promising acts around.
Mancunian alt-rockers Siren have been causing tongues to wag at a rate of knots with their spellbinding performances as the female three piece’s meteoric rise shows no sign of slowing, with Smithdown Road Festival attendees being the latest lucky souls to fall under their charms. To think that they are less then a year into their journey is all the more amazing for this gifted group.

One of the brightest songwriters in recent times, Astles delicate workings have seen him gain a swell of plaudits from across the industry since being the recipient of the 2016 Merseyrail Sound Station prize with the likes of Liverpool International Music Festival and Sound City quick to heap praise on the young man.
With support slots for the likes of Primal Scream and blistering turns at Tramlines and Dot to Dot festivals respectively, Factory are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with as their searing blend of rock and roll sees their army of fans continue to grow.
Our final act for this edition will see the intriguing tones of Adam Byrne make their Deep Cuts debut, with his distinctive vocals and alluring rhythms set to win over plenty if his work so far is anything to go by, as anyone lucky enough to catch him in the flesh will tell you.
Finally, we must reflect upon our last outing with the magnificent Milo Tain, Seatbelts, Lennie Dies and Lemonade Fix all producing fantastic performances for our special night with Sound City.
