With the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vasily Petrenko set to live stream a concert with epic music Getintothis’ Rick Leach has the details.
A glorious programme of classical music includes the high-octane humour of Walton’s Partita, Grieg’s much-loved Piano Concerto performed by the Japanese virtuoso, Nobujuki Tsujii before Petrenko and the Orchestra bring their consummate skills to Tchaikovsky’s epic Symphony No. 4
With only a few tickets remaining for the concert this Sunday, February 4. music fans can share in the thrill of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in performance by watching the live stream, presented in partnership with Classic FM at 2.30 pm.
The Orchestra’s last live streamed concert on January 21, with Vasily Petrenko and the Orchestra joined by violinist Julian Rachlin has, to date, been viewed 95,000 times and reached 677,000 people with 16,000 reactions, comments and shares with viewers from as far afield as Texas, São Paulo, California and the Philippines.

After this Sunday’s event, Liverpool Philharmonic’s next live stream will be on April 26, again featuring pianist Nobujuki Tsujii, ahead of a major seven concert date tour the RPLO and Petrenko will undertake with the star soloist to his native Japan in May.
