Neighbourhood Weekender is revealed, Getintothis’ Peter Guy reports on something to whet the appetite of north west festival goers.
Neighbourhood Weekender festival is to take over Victoria Park in Warrington on Bank Holiday Weekend May 26-27, 2018.
Neighbourhood Weekender will take place on Victoria Park were the likes of the first V Festival (1996) and Radiohead (2000) played, with organisers suggesting a range of massive bands and hot new artists set to feature.
The Weekender comes from the creators of Neighbourhood Festival, based in Manchester, which this year saw the likes of Blossoms, Idles, Xam Volo and The Orielles play around various inner city venues.
Promoters Luke Temple and Jack Dowling, of SJM Concerts, released this statement: “Neighbourhood weekender is already shaping up to have a great line up. Victoria Park is the perfect space to host our new festival.
“We can’t wait to come back for what is going to be an amazing weekend of live music across three stages along with a hub of local food and drinks on offer.”
