Euros Childs is coming to Liverpool this autumn and Getintothis’ Del Pike has the lowdown.
Euros Childs, frontman of Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci is coming to Liverpool in November for a low-key gig at the Buyers Club, that almost certainly will be a packed house event.
The Welsh purveyor of psych pop, who recently collaborated with Bella Union’s Simon Raymonde on his Lost Horizon’s project, is in the process of touring around his forthcoming album.
House Arrest will be his thirteenth album and will be released via his own National Elf label. Produced in his own studio with Stephen (Sweet Baboo) Black, embracing the DIY ethic in style.
Childs enthuses, ‘It’ll be a keyboards and drum machine set up. Which will give me the chance to play material I’ve never played live before, more of the synthesizers based stuff. There’ll be two of us onstage. I’m very much looking forward to it’
Tickets are a tenner and are sure to sell fast
Euros Childs plays at the Buyers Club on November 30.
