Damnation Festival returns and Getintothis’ Mark Davies has the scoop on this year’s line-up.
It’s that time of year again, festival season is in full swing and here’s a spicy one to add to the list for those of you with a more metallurgical sense about you.
If the words ‘heavy’ and/or ‘metal’ find their way into your vocabulary often?
If so, you’d better unclog those ears because Damnation Festival, one of the UK’s most revered and enduring metal events, returns to Leeds University Union on November 4 2017, making this it’s thirteenth year, with aims held high that 2017 will be the best yet.

With headline acts among the likes of Bloodbath, Sodom and Paradise Lost, and bands like Italian occult rockers Psychedelic Witchcraft, Belgian black metallers Wiegedood, and Ginger Wildheart‘s noise group Mutation just added to the bill, we’d say you are in for one hell of a time.
