One of the hardest working bands in metal history will be returning the UK this winter, Getintothis’ Mark Davies on their latest leviathan tour across the land.
Mastodon take to the UK shores for a winter tour.
Those striding behemoths from Atlanta, Georgia never seem to take a break, whether it’s recording albums, endlessly touring as Mastodon or as parts of their other side projects, or even featuring on HBO’s own Game of Thrones as part of the undead hordes of Wights beyond the wall (yes really, look it up).
The band will be embarking on a seven date UK tour beginning on 2 December 2017, in support of their newly released opus Emperor of Sand which has seen the band reach heights they would have thought impossible, back during their formative years in the late 90s.

Following a face-melting performance on Download Festival‘s main stage, the band announced the following dates:
December 2: Great Hall, Cardiff
December 4: Civic Hall,Wolverhampton
December 5: Rock City, Nottingham
December 6: Northumbria Uni, Newcastle
December 7: Barrowland, Glasgow
December 9: Academy, Manchester
December 10: O2 Academy Brixton, London
