The wait is over, for the time has come for festival season to greet us once more.
As you will hopefully know, this weekend sees Threshold Festival take over the Baltic and thus bringing a bounty of some of the most fascinating sights and sounds you will hear.
But for a city like Liverpool, this isn’t enough. As you can see by this guide, our city is bursting with talent all through the week and beyond, from the docks to the hills, we’ve got you covered.

The excitement for the debut outing of Abi Harding‘s new venture AbiChan is reaching fever pitch, as the time draws near for their showcase on Friday.
If that wasn’t enough, then this latest Sound City emerging talent outing will also see The Sneaky Nixons, The Isrights and The Floormen all make this a whopper of a gig.

Songwriting maestro Scott Matthews makes a swift and welcome return to Liverpool this week as he plays Leaf armed with his latest creation Home (Part 2).
The Midland man will be joined by Lee Southall for a dual force of musicianship at its best for this special weekend number.
