As Laura Marling announces her sixth album and a UK tour, Getintothis’ Jessica Borden has a look at what the folk songstress has to bring to Manchester.
The folk singer songwriter Laura Marling has announced her new album Semper Femina to be released March 10, 2017, marking it her sixth studio album release. Her ability to be emotionally open and raw allows so many people to tap into the lyrics and music no matter what genre they would typically listen to.
The last collection of music that came from Marling was her 2015 album Short Movie which introduced the electric guitar into her sound for the first time. The instrument carries onto the new album and helps develop her sound even further.
