The dubtronica nonet eye a return to Liverpool in the coming months, as Getintothis‘ David Hall gets his skank on.
With a busy 2016 on the live circuit behind them, Gentlemen’s Dub Club look ahead to a new year with a new tour featuring an Invisible Wind Factory thanks to Fiesta Bombarda. They will hit the Liverpool North Dockland venue on March 11, 2017.
The Leeds-based group’s live shows have garnered a solid reputation for their explosive energy since the band’s inception in 2006. Their Invisible Wind Factory showing then promises to be one of the highlights of any gig-goers calendar on Merseyside next spring, with Mungo’s Hi-Fi also on offer at the docklands bonanza.
In the studio, the Dub Club number nine members in all, with two albums now under their collective belts. Following up a pair of EPs, they made their full-length debut with FOURtyFOUR in 2012, following up with 2015’s The Big Smoke.
Fans could have a busy 2017 on their hands, with a new tour pointing to the possibility of a new album in the works. In the meantime, an exclusive string of dates will leave appetites well and truly whetted, with an Invisible Wind Factory date bolstered by further North West dates in Chester and Manchester.
Gentlemen’s Dub Club play Invisible Wind Factory, Liverpool, with support from Mungo’s Hi-Fi on Saturday March 11, 2017. Doors 8pm.
