Alabama 3 are renowned for their live shows, combining elements of country ballads, blues riffs, heavy dance basses and beats and an ever presence of jazz style rap.
Hailing from Brixton, London, Alabama 3 have developed their shows over two decades, playing gigs more like a frat house party via the everglades swamp. They have created a following that want and know they are going to have a good time, as will be the case when they hit the O2 Academy on May 6.
Now celebrating 20 years together, they use elements from the acid soaked sounds of Screaming Jay Hawkins and blues driven guitar riffing’s of ZZ top together with the heavy beats of mid-nineties hip hop.
Combining this with their party hard, good times shows, it’s easy to see why they have been held in such acclaim for so long. If this sounds like your type of night then Alabama 3 are the band for you.
