All the creatures of the night are set to come out and play this weekend, as Halloween heralds a series of spooky events set to take place across the whole city.
From fiendish delights up at the Baltic Triangle, to monstrous dockland parties, there are plenty of tricks and treats in store for you over the weekend. With such gruesome goodies dotted about, you may end up with your own Pandora’s Box as you try to sort out the spookiest places to be.

John Carpenter: Liverpool Olympia, Friday October 28
What better way to start your Halloween weekend then the legend behind the film, John Carpenter. The Horror Master is headlining Liverpool Music Week this year and is the man behind The Fog and The Thing to name but a few. If there is one place you should really go this Halloween, it has to be this.

The beastly Oxford four piece Glass Animals stride into the O2 Academy this Friday, as they look to crank up support for their second LP How to Be a Human Being. At times creepy and quirky, the group will take you on a strange voyage if you head down this one.

A monsterous triple headed beast will be on offer at Arts Club on Friday night, as Liverpool Music Week’ Breaking Out series kicks off in real style. With a whirlwind summer of smashing festivals, The Big Moon head a night that will see Trudy and The Romance plus VYNCE take to the stage.
Echoes Halloween Special: Invisible Wind Factory, Friday October 28
Rising from the dead, The Kazimier team are flourishing in their new home at Invisible Wind Factory and will be the setting for Abandon Silence’s Echoes Halloween Special. With the legendary Jeremy Underground and Sochi Terada on offer, this all nighter has winner written all over it.
Samhain: Kazimier Garden, Saturday October 29
With the final flicker of summer all but over, the Kazimier Garden will celebrate Samhain in the only way they know how: metal, cake and ale. With the dark half of the year upon us, expect this to be a proper way to celebrate summers end.
Vevo Halloween: Bramley Moore Dock, Saturday October 29
A gargantuan group of acts heads to the docks this weekend, as Vevo Halloween creeps into town. With Blossoms, Jack Garratt, Zara Larsson plus Aurora and Izzy Bizu all on offer, this is a line up that The Ghostbusters would struggle with.

Lovers of dance are truly spoilt this weekend, with Circus and Seth Troxler teaming up to bring the underworld to the Baltic. Spread across Camp and Furnace, District and 24 Kitchen Street, the doors of hell are well and truly open with Eats Everything, Luciano, B2B Yousef, Lauren Lo Sung and lots more all set to play the all nighter.
