The Glaswegian singer-songwriter announces a new tour off the back of his sophomore album, as Getintothis‘ David Hall previews an artist who is the architect of his own success.
Following up a Mercury Music Prize nominated debut album is no mean feat. But with The Midnight Sun, C Duncan has performed just that feat with a lush and beautiful new record.
With his new album released just a few weeks ago, C Duncan now announces a new UK tour including a Liverpool stop-off on January 28, 2017.
Duncan is no stranger to Liverpool, having headlined his own special show at Leaf on Bold Street in support of his debut album Architect earlier this year. He cut his teeth in the last knockings of 2015 supporting Lucy Rose at Liverpool O2 Academy, a venue he now returns to for his own gig.

Now Harvest Sun Promotions has hauled classically-trained Duncan back to Merseyside off the back of his new material, including the burbling synth-lead dreampop of Wanted To Want It Too.
C Duncan‘s new material is a bound on from his deliberately bedroomish debut Architect is terms of scope whilst also maintaining his pleasingly pastoral brand of esotericism. He has returned with a sound that is bigger, bolder and, in terms of tracks like On Course, even toting some bangers.
C Duncan plays Liverpool O2 Academy on Saturday, January 28 2017. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 28 at 10am.
