As Anathema announce a string of intimate shows and a monster support slot, Getintothis Craig MacDonald is here with all the details.
Liverpool prog legends Anathema have announced an intimate UK tour for November before their biggest show to date, supporting Opeth at London’s Wembley Arena on November 19.
With the six piece rockers set to road test material from their as yet untitled eleventh album, the tour represents a chance for fans to see the group play some of the songs for the very first time in a far closer proximity than what they are used to playing.
Once they have completed their road trip, the group will then head to capital’s Wembley Arena to take on supporting duties for Swedish metal lords Opeth as they crank up proceedings for their new album Sorceress. Who know’s, perhaps it wont be long till Anathema are playing here in their own right.
