The Mercury Prize 2016 judges reveal their shortlist.
David Bowie heads up the Mercury Prize 2016 shortlist.
The full list of nominees were revealed by Lauren Laverne this morning with Anohni, Radiohead and Kano also featured on the shortlist.
In what appears one of the most predictable shortlist in years, 1975, Michael Kiwanuka and Skepta were also among the nominees chosen by the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Annie Mac and Kate Tempest.
As suggested yesterday, the Mercury have aligned themselves with more established artists this year – and the Getintothis Predictometer guessed a pretty respectable seven – still not beating our record of eight in 2013.
