Kashmere, the name on everybody’s lips, a band that has kept their cult-like following eagerly awaiting for the best part of three years for their debut single, Blow Your Mind.
Another one of Stockport’s exports with a healthy career ahead, Kashmere have worked extensively to create this exciting exclusivity about them, allowing them to resonate with every one of their listeners.
Performing at over 30 shows last year, their gigging schedule can be gruelling but rather than sit at home and wait for the real world to come knocking, the four lads have devised a wonderful strategy to keep them on their toes all year round – with a little help from their manager, Miriam Rahimov of MEAN Music.
Blow Your Mind is a well concocted single, catchy but not pretentious, the lads have taken the indie/alt sounds of the 00s and twisted it up another notch, continuously pushing boundaries set in place by forecasters of a sound which should bare no red tape.
With front-man Joey Newey leading with a doped vocalism, the track ripples on with the firm beat put in place by drummer, Andy Law and bassist, Dave Pennington – Blow Your Mind is the track, everyone will be singing along to.
