The king of the rhetorical query returns to play Liverpool, as Getintothis‘ Sue Bennett reports.
Celebrating the release of Lost In Translation, a collection of hits and collaborations, infamous and independent Queens MC Pharoahe Monch will be welcomed to the Baltic den of 24 Kitchen Street in August.
As a member of the 90s duo Organised Konfusion, Monch is both critically acclaimed and a well-respected figure in hip hop history.
More hip-hop royalty in the form of KRS-One descends upon Liverpool soon
The 24 Kitchen Street audience is guaranteed an evening of lyrical impact, in a venue fast becoming a hotbed of visceral performance on the Liverpool music scene. Heartbreak and love will feature heavily as Monch seeks to rouse the rabble with his linguistic beats as he did at the Kazimier two years ago.
Lost in Translation is available now as a free download.
Pharoahe Monche plays 24 Kitchen Street on Saturday, August 13, doors 6pm.
