Getintothis‘ David Hall has every exciting detail you need as the former Beta Band man announces a nationwide jaunt taking in Liverpool for its opening night.
Following the desperate last-minute cancellation of his much-anticipated FestEVOL headline slot this month, Steve Mason has bounced straight back with an extensive UK tour announcement.
“Now seemed like a good time to sort another run of shows out,” says Mason, “But this time go deeper into some of the places I’ve either never played or have not played in a while.”
Kicking off in Liverpool in the autumn, Mason promises to showcase material from his latest solo release Meet the Humans, as well as taking in a selection of his impressive discography.
“We will be performing various songs I have written over the years,” he reckons, “But mainly from the last three albums.”
Having risen to prominence with the highly-influential Beta Band, who released three albums along with the much-lauded Three EPs collection, Mason has gone on to forge a successful solo career, with his third album following up 2010’s Boys Outside and Monkey Minds In The Devil’s Time in 2013.
