Liverpool International Music Festival has announced its second wave of artists for the 2016 festival, which this year takes place over July 21-24, including Wretch 32, WSTRN, Buzzcocks and many more.
Adding to this years Summer Jam will be GIT Award nominees Clean Cut Kid, Stealing Sheep, The Vryll Society as well as Wretch 32, WSTRN, Craig Charles, Adele Roberts, Greg Wilson and Ady Suleiman.
Joining the additions to the Summer Jam at the event in Sefton Park will also be the twenty acts that make up the LIMF Academy Class of 2016, as the programme continues to provide a platform for talented young unsigned artists and bands from Merseyside, including GIT Award nominee L U M E N.
A new addition to this years bash, the LIMFxLaces Out! stage will aim to bring the best Hip Hop DJ’s form the Northwest together with a few surprises yet to be announced.

Helping to celebrate some of the most influential cultural movements in Liverpool over the last 40 years, 76-16:From Erics to EVOL (A celebration of Liverpool’s counter-culture) will see performances from Buzzcocks, Peter Wylie and Clinic while BBC 1Xtra’s Seani B brings together British reggae artists to explore the sound of UK reggae in Roots, Rock and Reggae.
Yousef will be curating House Nation with Dennis Ferrer, Reboot, HECTOR – VATOS LOCOS, Lewis Boardman while XamVolo, Mersey Wylie, Levi Tafari, Edgar Summertyme, Amique, GIT Award nominees MiC LOWRY and Esco Williams will be taking part in Yes Indeed! A Celebration of forgotten pioneers of Merseybeat as they update works by the black pioneers of Merseybeat.
Finally, in addition to his show at Leaf, Johnny Echols will be joining some special guests as part of From Liverpool With Love, celebrating the music of Arthur Lee and Love and its connection to Liverpool.
