Ellie Goulding has come a long way since being crowned BBC Sound of the Year in 2010. She hit the ground running with her debut album, Lights. Ellie didn’t want to be a polished popstar. Instead, she opted for an edgy, alternative image and wrote songs that were vulnerable and heartfelt.
Ellie‘s managed to stay true to herself as an artist, but has never stopped evolving. She’s released tracks such as Burn and has featured on Calvin Harris‘ mega hits I Need Your Love and Outside. She has two number one albums,two Brit Awards and has recently become a Grammy-nominated artist for Love Me Like You Do, which featured on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.
Delirium is Ellie‘s third offering. It’s an album that is packed full of pop hits and emotional ballads. Her live show will no doubt be brave and bold, as well as being a reflection of how far she’s come as an artist. And when it comes to Ellie, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
