Following the success of fourth album Written In Scars, Jack Savoretti kicks off another UK tour at Liverpool’s O2 Academy next February.
Jack Savoretti was once tipped as the ‘next big thing’, that hype has since died down leaving the English/Italian troubadour to plough his furrow somewhat under the radar. February sees his latest tour – in support of 2015 offering and fourth studio album Written In Scars – begin at Liverpool’s O2 Academy.
The follow-up to 2012’s Before The Storm has already notched almost 100,000 sales and has a new single – raspy heartfelt piano ballad Catapult – released on January 15, one of nine extra tracks added to a second disc when the record was re-packaged last September.
The album was well received critically, spending 34 weeks in the Top 40 charts, peaking at number twelve, with many of the tracks from it regulars on the radio.
He starts a six-date UK tour in Liverpool on Sunday 28th February of next year, less than a year since his last visit to the city when he played East Village Arts Club, now just The Arts Club, in March 2014.
