On what will be exactly a year to the day from their opening night, the talented folk behind (Dont) Drop the Dumbells have announced the line up for their first birthday taking place in the Dublin Street venue. The night features an array of artistic intellects throughout the nights celebrations.
In a pleasant moment of coincidence, the surrealist splendor of Thomas Truax returns to the venue and will be playing songs from his latest album Jetsream Sunset in a masterclass of performance. The American is renowned for his inventive musical creations and will no doubt be presenting some of his newest productions. The legendary aPAtT will also be bringing their newest progressive workings to the event as they showcase songs from forthcoming album Fun With Music.
Eclectic trio Dead Hedge shall bring their heady mix of jazz and psyche rock to the party with their live shows growing plaudits. With further support coming in the form of local upstarts Walrus Soundsystem and Your Favorite Muslim plus DJ sets from Dumbell DJs it’s a fitting gathering of the variety of acts that the collective champions.
