As iconic Merseysiders the Farm are announced as headliners, Getintothis’ Adam Lowerson has all the details on Farm Feast’s music programme.
Wirral food, drink and music festival Farm Feast have announced that this year’s event will be headlined by iconic Merseysiders The Farm. The two day festival takes place at Claremont Farm on the Wirral from June 13-14.
Joining the bill on the main stage, which is curated by the Dovedale Social are The Mono LPs, Married to the Sea, The Maydays, The Ragamuffins and Paddy Clegg.
The Courtyard stage, hosted by Mellowtone, sees two days of live music and DJs from 10am to 10pm, and will include performances from Rob Jones and Rob White, Katy Alex, Chris Elliot, Creaky Bones, Alex Hulme, Kevin Critchley, Southbound Attic Band, Rosenblume, Paul Wilkes, Little Sparrow, Paul Straws, Me & Deboe, Henry Pulp & The Lying B*st*rds, Ivan Campo, Alex Green, Richie Syrett and The Midnight Ramble.
The remainder of the lineup will be made up of the six finalists of #NewWirralSounds, a competition by Bido Lito! and Farm Feast, selecting some of the best up and coming bands from Merseyside to play on the main stage at the festival. The finalists will be announced in the coming weeks.
Of the line up announcement, Andrew Pimbley, Festival Director of Farm Feast says, “At our heart we love great food but the best times are always those with a soundtrack to match. Just as we’re passionate about sourcing the best local food producers and those creating interesting dishes and ingredients so we’ve found the best local music acts with a strong Scouse pedigree for sound”.
Alongside the impressive line up of music there will also be appearances from British baker John Whaite, TV Presenter Katy Ashworth, and the founder of Bold Street’s Mowgli, Nisha Katona.
Tickets for the festival are available here.
