Hip-pop newcomer Kate Tempest to play The Kazimier following phenomenal demand of her sell out UK tour.
With the Mercury Music Prize just round the corner, it’s timely that the bookie’s favourite Kate Tempest has lashed additional dates to her sell out UK tour.
Lucky for us, Liverpool’s Kazimier is on the agenda on February 18 for her debut Everybody Down for Big Dada is an absolute blinder. Displaying the kind of infectious melodies and lyrical street verve last exemplified on The Streets‘ Original Pirate Material, she’s a seriously big talent justifying the considerable hype.
Raw, urgent, honest, warm and most of all, fun – this one promises to be a good ‘un and if we had our way she’d be a deserved winner when the Mercury bong is handed out next Wednesday.
