For the third successive year, Getintothis was asked to programme the music during the Grand National at Aintree, our man Simon Lewis saddled up to capture the fine selection of new music on offer.
It’s not all horses and betting slips at Aintree’s Grand National. Nope, for years now the world’s greatest steeplechase has supported a whole host of new Merseyside music talent – and for the last three we’ve lent a helping hand.
Alongside The Tea Street Band, Esco Williams and a clutch of others, we selected rising artists, Early Music, She Drew The Gun and Matty H to play to thousands of revellers.
Our man down the front of the Equestrian Centre, Simon Lewis, captured the action away from Becher’s Brook.
