Broken Men enlist a cavalcade of Liverpool artists to accompany them for the launch of two new singles, Getintothis’ Joseph Viney reports.

Broken Men are preparing for an eventful 2014 with the launch of a brace of tasty teasers lifted from their imminent debut album at District on Saturday December 21.
The Outsider and 1956 are the tracks chosen to whet the appetite of followers of Broken Men, whose year so far has seen them championed on BBC6 Music and graced stages with the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen, Pure Love, Alt-J as well as an impressive showing at this summer’s FestEVOL.
In their festive benevolence, Milk:Presents have made The Outsider available for free download for one week only along with their debut EP.
So all you lucky souls can bag their entire back catalogue from SoundCloud from Saturday December 14 to the night of the gig.
If that wasn’t enough, then a superb bill has been put together to guarantee you more bang for your Xmas buck.
Offering support and best wishes on the night will be Sugarmen, Dirty Rivers, Oxygen Thieves as well as a Natalie McCool and Dominic Dunn collaboration.
The perfect way to see in the festive period.
