The Kazimier Garden undergoes winter upgrade with grand reopening on Saturday, Getintothis gives the lowdown on what’s in store.
The Kazimier Garden has been one of Liverpool’s most welcoming social features in recent times.
Situated at the rear of the Kazimier Club with a doorway on Duke Street, the summer garden (pictured) has hosted some of the culture calender’s finest events in the last 18 months.
The simplest of ideas – an outdoor drinking environment with tasty, open fire street food with accompanying live music band stand – executed with aplomb.
Following months of activity behind the scenes, the Kazimier team are to reveal the reinvention of the Garden on Saturday November 9 featuring live bands and DJs.
Our Kazimier insider, told Getintothis, ‘We’re taking mulls and toddies to the next level!
‘We have an exciting new kitchen focusing on a fire-based cooking method: expect slow cooked stews in cauldrons, grilled cuts, all fresh everyday. Lots of new cool bevvies such specially brewed beers, a wine list heavily focusing on ports, and big red wines, and many, many whiskies!
‘We now have regular opening times – which we’ve never done before – so the good people of Liverpool can expect some continuity with regards to coming down for lunch. It’s always fresh, quality ingredients, and always winter warming!
Also on tap will be two new winter ales, courtesy of Liverpool Craft Beers Company, Black Pepper Wheat Porter or Vanilla Wheat Porter.

The Kazimier Winter Garden will be open each week from November 9, Tuesday-Sunday, midday until midnight.
